Thin Set of Braided Jesses

Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, with a thickness of less than 4 mm, the Thin Set of Braided Jesses provides a lightweight, strong, and reliable setup for your falcon or hawk — whether you fly a peregrine tiercel or a gyrfalcon.

The set features double-sided bearing swivels designed to help reduce entanglement. Made from 100% stainless steel, these swivels are exceptionally rugged while remaining compact and lightweight.

Our braided jesses feature a continuous, end-to-end braided finish, with sennit rose knots at the top of the jesses and Turk’s knots at both ends of the extender and loop leash.

The jesses are UV-resistant. The color may fade gradually with years of use, but this does not affect the strength or performance of the material.

The set is suitable for both male and female falcons and hawks, provided that the 17 cm / 6.9” length is comfortable for you. Measurements are taken from the bottom of the sennit rose knot to the far end of the slit.

Each set includes:
• A pair of braided jesses
• An extender with a bearing swivel
• A loop leash

NB: For additional safety, we recommend using this set with anklets featuring 6 mm (1/4”) eyelet holes.
