Our Aylmeri anklets are made from the highest standard leather choice and leather quality. The top and bottom edges of the anklets are folded and stitched with robust nylon thread. Which make them very comfortable and reliable over the years of use. In front of the grommet, above and below, they have a flat shape. So as to create a fit and comfort for your bird. 

The grommets we use are made from solid brass sheet. They have a flat periphery, that will not stick into the leather. And will press both sides of the Aylmeri anklet, firmly and permanently. The edges of the grommets itself are rounded and safe. Use our "Grommet pliers set" and you will get a perfect and oval-shaped closure of those grommets.

We offer the Aylmeri anklets in four sizes. They will comе with 6 mm (1/4") heavy brass grommets attached, which you can replace with your owns.

Sizes:

M size- falcons from 570 to 780 grams* (20 oz.* to 27.5 oz.*)

Suitable for tiercel peregrine, male gyr/peregrine, lanneret, sakret, male pere/saker, male goshawk and similar sized birds.

L size- falcons from 780 to 1100 grams* (27.5 oz.* to 39 oz.*)

Suitable for female peregrine, male gyr/peregrine, female gyr/peregrine, male gyr/saker, sakret, female saker, jerkin, male goshawk, female goshawk and similar sized birds.

XL size- falcons from 1100 to 1400 grams* (39 oz.* to 49 oz.*)

Suitable for female peregrine, female gyr/peregrine, female gyr/ saker, female saker, gyrkin, female gyr, female goshawk and similar sized birds.

XXL size- falcons from 1400+ grams* (49 oz.* +)

Suitable for female gyr, female gyr/peregrine, female gyr/saker and similar sized birds. 

grams* / oz.*-  Chamber weight of the bird. Minimum 30 hours after the last crop.

NB: You can replace our grommets with your own (6mm; 1/4"), as long as you have the right tool to close them. For proper fit, the post length of your grommets/eyelets must be longer than 4,5mm. 

 The purchase of our Aylmeri anklets , doesn't include eyelet setting tool for them!
